You shouldn’t have to choose between your career and being a great parent.

We're Re-Inventing Childcare and That's Not Always Easy.

At ProducKIDvity, we're challenging the status quo. We believe that providing exceptional care and education for children means thinking outside the box and doing things differently. While it's not always easy to break away from traditional methods, we're committed to creating a nurturing environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and growth in every child.

We are authentic & accountable:

We are true to ourselves, speak our truth, and are self-reflective in every interaction. We own the decisions we make and their outcomes. We are committed to learning and growing, always.

We are innovative & entrepreneurial:

We don't believe in the status quo and always ask "why?" or "how can we do this better?". We don't want to be like every other childcare centre and pride ourselves on being trailblazers who sometimes ruffle a few feathers.

We believe and invest in our communities

We lend a helping hand to make our community a better place. As a social enterprise, we invest in our community and participate wherever possible.

We exist to serve families who need more from their childcare:

Whether you're a first responder looking for childcare for your entire shift, an entrepreneur looking for flexibility, a family in Kelowna with no extended family and needing an extra day to catch-up on life, we want to serve you the best we can.

We uphold a strict policy of kindness, with zero tolerance for anything less:

While we strive for excellence in every interaction, our top priority is ensuring that our team is treated with the kindness and respect they deserve. This extends to our families, their colleagues, and our community, both online and off.

We believe families should be able to choose the childcare that’s best for them, not just what’s available.

We believe that families deserve the access to the childcare that best suits their families needs. We promote this by strongly advocating for fairness within the Government funding programs and collaborating with other centres wherever possible.

Fun Facts About ProducKIDvity:

  • We are the only licensed childcare centre with co-working in Canada.

  • We pay the highest educator wages for ECEs in the Province of BC. We have also become a Certified Living Wage Employer in BC.

  • We opened our first location when one business partner just left a 8.5 week stay in the NICU with twins. Within one month of opening, our other partner received a cancer diagnosis.

  • We make everything from scratch in our kitchen, even our ketchup. It’s so delicious that one time a staff member ate it thinking it was soup!

  • We were about to move ahead on a project on Water St in Kelowna, when Building Blocks cold called us and asked if we would be interested in trying to save their childcare spaces. We ended up pulling out of our new space deal and focusing efforts to retain spaces and jobs. It was a hard move and we would do it differently if we could.

  • We aren’t in this business to be evil or greedy. In fact, we are very much the opposite. We do however, need to charge a price to offer the extras we offer and the wages we pay our educators.

  • We are currently looking at opportunities across BC and are aiming to open a Victoria location next.

Our Vision and Mission

Vision Statement:

At ProducKIDvity, our vision is to provide a premium childcare and shared office space experience in every major city across Canada that enables parents to take back their day.

Mission Statement:

Our mission is to create a better life for working parents through child-friendly workspaces.

ProducKIDvity was founded in 2021 by a group of entrepreneurial parents on a mission to solve their own childcare problems.

In 2020, we decided that traditional childcare wasn't working for our busy lifestyles. With rigid 8 hour maximums, lack of quality, and convenience or trying to work at a home office with toddlers, we decided to create our own utopia of combining licensed childcare with on-site office space. Productivity and kids aren't something that traditionally go together, but at ProducKIDvity, we believe balance is possible for parents if we eliminate the barriers to success.

Commitment to Growth and Excellence

Opening childcare centers in today's environment has presented numerous challenges. We've faced difficult lessons along the way, but we always strive to embody the philosophy that you should do your best until you know better, and then do better.

To our supportive customers who have stood by us through these challenges and changes, we extend our heartfelt gratitude. For those who feel we may not be the right fit, we respect your decision entirely.

One thing is unwavering within our company: our commitment to continuous learning and growth from our experiences. In doing so, we are dedicated to providing fair wages to our educators and offering childcare services to a market that has not previously had this opportunity.
