Here’s an expanded version with additional specifics about the curriculum and enrichment activities:
Our 3 to 5-year-old program is thoughtfully designed to prepare your child for a smooth and confident transition to kindergarten. This stage is all about building independence, fostering curiosity, and developing the skills necessary for a lifetime of learning.
Our curriculum focuses on kindergarten readiness, blending play-based learning with structured activities that develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and early literacy and numeracy skills. Children engage in:
Pre-writing and pre-reading activities such as tracing, letter recognition, and storytelling.
Numeracy exercises including counting, pattern recognition, and basic problem-solving.
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) explorations through hands-on experiments, nature walks, and building projects.
Art and creative expression to encourage imagination, fine motor skills, and confidence.
Music and movement sessions to develop coordination and rhythm while supporting language skills.
Outdoor learning is also a key component, with activities designed to connect children with nature while fostering physical development and environmental awareness.
Social-emotional development remains a core focus, as we help children learn to collaborate, resolve conflicts, and regulate their emotions. Through group projects, circle time, and role-playing, they build teamwork, communication, and leadership skills that will serve them well in kindergarten and beyond.
Educators also emphasize independence in daily routines, such as self-help skills, problem-solving, and decision-making, all of which are key components of kindergarten readiness.
We partner closely with families to provide updates, celebrate milestones, and offer guidance on how to support learning at home. Together, we ensure your child feels confident, capable, and excited for their next big adventure in school.
